Upper Delaware
Rivers has scheduled several time periods targeting peak hatching cycles starting in April with high water streamer fishing and then the famed Hendrickson hatch in April and continuing with the Green Drake and March Browns in May and the Sulphur in June.
Heavy rain events sometimes produce spillover events on the resrvoirs that feed the Upper Delaware river system. During these spill events we have experienced some exception streamer AND dry fly fishing. The water conditions make the insects very active and the fish lose some of their normal wariness as they gorge on them. Though recent agreements on the levels that the dams will be managed at indicate that fewer spill events will occur we will be targeting the area when they do.
The Upper D is home to a huge population of large, finicky trout and the immense population of aquatic insects that they feed upon. It's no secret that these cunning critters will put all of your angling skills to the test but many anglers enjoy the challenge while drifting the serene and scenic Delaware River under the watchful eye of bald eagles perched in the trees above.
This package includes two nights lodging at the Point Mtn Fly Fishing Club. Nestled along the banks of the East Branch, this comfortable cabin offers a full kitchen and a great atmosphere. Rates are based on double occupancy.
Two day float with a shore lunch both days. Cost for one angler is $795, cost for two anglers is $895.

Susquehanna River
The Susquehanna fished well for us in 2009. It's been a long time since that's been the case but we're happy to see healthy smallies roaming the river once again. Though we didn't experience the numbers of it's heyday, the size of the fish hooked was impressive. Every trip saw fish in the 3-5lb range on the end of the line and usually a few a day. We'll keep a close watch on the river and with any luck successful spawning is replenishing the mighty Susquehanna with an army of fierce bronzebacks to keep us busy in the hot summer weather. |
Warm Water Fly Fishing Trips
Difficult fishing on the Susquehanna in past years had us fishing several warm water impoundments, a few that are managed for Trophy Bass, and we have decided to share the fun. Fly fishing lakes and ponds in properly outfitted boats for bass, walleye, muskies, pike , and pickerel is a blast and a great alternative to the Susquehanna or when the trout fishing slows down. Offered late July through August.
A six hour float for one or two anglers is $290 (Limited Availability)
