Kayak Schools
Whether you are outdoor enthusiast, photographer or fly fisherman, kayaking is great way to experience nature and a Rivers Kayaking School is an enjoyable way to get started. Our two day, kayak touring school starts in a classroom with illustrated presentations on safety, strokes, and gear. Then off to the lake where you will be taken through all the basics including entry, exit, and flat-water techniques. We will spend the second day drifting down a gentle river where you will learn moving water techniques. These popular classes include lunch both days, gear and boat shuttles, and are limited in attendance. Boat /Gear rentals will be available with advanced notice. |
Kayak Fishing Schools
These schools will focus on kayaking specifically as it relates to fishing. Learn all of the skills in our general kayak school with the addition of how to fish a lake or river from a kayak, fishing specific kayak gear, and various techniques that will make you a more proficient kayak angler. |
