Brent and I fished in White Haven and in the Lehigh Tannery area. It was a little too quiet at our favorite White Haven haunt. Water was a little off color not very much fish or bug activity so we headed down to Tannery and as the evening progressed bug and fish activity both increased. There lots of olive spinners around #18 and quite a few Stenonema Canadensis, aka Yellow Cahills, we had a lot of hook ups and a few break offs and even a few landed. Only one fish pic because it’s hard to get fish pics when your up to your waist in the Lehigh! Over all, the leaves are turning, the fishing is good, the view is spectacular, and the Gorge is a breathtaking place to do some quality fishing. Look for caddis #12-18, slate drakes #10-12, yellow cahills #12, and lots of olives #16-22.
