| Little Schuylkill Cased Caddis
Many streams in the East are home to cased caddis larva. This pattern imitates a caddis larva living in a case made from plant debris. The easiest way to find out if these caddis live in your favorit stream is to flip some rocks over. If there's little bunches of sticks and pebbles "glued" to the rock the there are cased caddis present. While it is interesting to open the case and take a look at the harmless larva we remind you to be sensible. Most caddis larva look relatively similar so if you've seen one there's no need to tear apart every caddis case that you see, they won't look much different. The following method is probably the easiest way to create a super buggy and durable cased caddis pattern. |
